Florida Gators
The Florida Gators are the athletic teams representing the University of Florida, located in Gainesville, Florida. The Gators field 21 varsity teams, including 11 women's teams and 10 men's teams, and participate in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
The Gators have a rich athletic history, with their football team winning three national championships and eight SEC championships, and their men's basketball team winning two national championships and eight SEC championships. The Gators also have successful programs in other sports, including baseball, softball, swimming and diving, and track and field.
The Gators also have a strong fan base, known as the "Gator Nation," and their home football games at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, also known as "The Swamp," are known for their electric atmosphere.
